Open Question: Need a bit of help with some citizenship questions?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me out a little with some questions? I'm not asking you to answer them or anything like that, I know I need to do it myself. But I am struggling to find information on them. There are two questions: 1. How can austerity measures help rectify a faltering economy? (I think I could probably do this, but I need a bit of help wording it/finding examples.) 2. Provide an example of where austerity measures have been employed (I was thinking maybe using Greece/Italy/etc for this?) the reasons for difficulties in the first place (I can probably follow that on from the Italy/Greece example easy,) how this can be applied at different levels (It's this bit that's got me confused- I'm not too sure what it means by levels- could you include personal levels perhaps?) I was just wondering if anyone has a bit more knowledge than I do on this, or if they could provide website links, etc? I'm not that good at answering Citizenship questions.
